One-Coat Application

RV Roof Magic, the best RV roof sealant, can be applied to all the following surfaces:

  • EPDM

  • Roofs previously coated with non-silicone products, such as elastomeric, acrylics, Dicor, Kool Seal, Henry, "liquid rubber" (Flex Seal), etc.

  • Alpha rubber roofs (made by Fleetwood RVs)

  • Fiberglass

  • Aged vinyl

  • Butyl rubber

  • Hypalon rubber

  • Weathered aluminum

  • Metal

  • TPO

NOTE: RV Roof Magic cannot be applied over PVC roofs or silicone coatings, as this may result in the product remaining tacky.

  • A vinyl adhesion test is recommended before application.CLICK here for instructions.

  • TPO primer is required if the scrim is showing through; otherwise, adhesion may be compromised.

The Benefits:

  • We’ve invested significant time and resources in developing our proprietary solvent-based formula. This specially engineered drying process allows for a chemical cross-link to occur—bonding RV Roof Magic and the surface it’s applied to into a single, seamless membrane.

  • It is applied at temperatures above 50°F.  Becomes waterproof within 3 hours. Completely cured within 8 to 10 hours.

  • Unlike other coatings, RV Roof Magic will not chalk and retains its original white color over time.

  • Waterproofs immediately (although we recommend applying at least 3 hours before any expected rain).

  • Forms a seamless, flexible, and highly durable membrane. Once applied, your roof will look like it has a single-piece membrane—no more worrying about seams.

  • Fully recoatable—never needs a tear-off.

  • Once fully cured (after 30 days), it can be painted with acrylic paint for excellent color adhesion and penetration.
