The FB-180 series polyester km-mesh is a stitch-bonded material ideally suited for use with RV Roof Magic coatings. The parallel fiber structure allows RV Roof Magic to wet out and thoroughly saturate quickly. These properties ensure a true monolithic membrane that remains intact even under thermal shock conditions.
TYPE OF APPLICATIONS:
- Reinforcement of seams, cracks, and penetrations on:
- Various roofing surfaces
- Concrete, stucco, and brick
- Wood joints and cracks
RV Roof Magic FB-180 provides high tensile strength with good elongation for excellent thermal stress force properties. When used with RV Roof Magic, they provide flexible, reinforced repairs.
RV Roof Magic FB-180 is a soft, flexible polyester that will readily conform to corrugated metal and many other irregular surfaces. This makes them easier to handle and apply properly than other products.
RV Roof Magic FB-180 polyester km-mesh is compatible with both solvent-based and water-based coatings.

Our polyester mesh is a stitch-bonded material that is ideally suited for use with RV Roof Magic coatings. It is used in conjunction with our Seam Tight. Along any seams, you will paint an 8-inch-long vertical line down the seam and then roll out the polyester mesh and embed the fabric into the wet SeamTight. Let dry, then apply another coating of SeamTight over the exposed fabric and let dry. Now you are ready to use the RvRoofMagic on the entire roof. This process ensures the fabric is encapsulated in SeamTight, so your seam will never come apart.
