What do I do if there is a silicon patch on the roof?

I have a 2x4 foot section where the previous owner patched the roof and applied silicone. Is there anything I can put over the patch then apply rv roof magic?

some of the rv repair shops use eternabond then apply our product otherwise you can try to remove the silicone
