Is roof magic a butyl product? And can you please tell me its life expectancy?

Hi! Yes it is 1005 butyl liquid rubber. Typically, a re-coat may be needed in 15 years. It is a one-coat application and unless you are down to the wood on your RV a primer is not needed.

Hello! Generally, a one-coat application will last 15-18 years before a recoat is needed. It is a specifically formulated copolymer of isobutylene with isoprene designed for vehicles that are in motion.
